I had to choose between EMU vs KentState or BGSU sv Temple - and I just couldn't stomach another game in front of 5,000 people this season (and then read how EMU claimed it was 15,000 in the paper the next day).

I could be at BGSU 3 times this year (a new personnal record) because I am coming to see my first BGSU-Toledo game (@ BGSU, anyway) and CMU has a bye the week BGSU hosts WMU.

My 5 MAC stadium tour:
week 1: NONE (couldn't make a Fri night game @ CMU)
week 2: La-Laf @ EMU (CMU was @ Miami(OH))
week 3: MichState @NDame (CMU was @ PennState) - Hey, would you have turned this game down - especially when it was free to me?
week 4: EMU @ CMU
week 5: Temple @ BGSU 4 p.m. (CMU is away @Akron)
week 6: EMU @ Toledo 7 p.m. (CMU is away @ Army)
week 7: OhioU @ CMU 1 p.m.
week 8: WMU @ BGSU 4 p.m. (CMU vs Bye - CMU favored by 3.5)
week 9: Toledo @ CMU 1 p.m.
week 10: WMU vs EMU @ FordField 1 p.m. (NIU is @ CMU - but I have to support this Ford Field connection, so they continue doing it, and I already have tickets)
week 11: CMU @ WMU 2 p.m.
week 12: may go to see NIU @ Toledo (Wed Night)
- - and could go to see CMU @ BallSt on Sat (haven't decided yet)
week 13: Toledo @ BGSU (Tues Night) (CMU reg season already over)

Sounds like a good idea. And after the cloning lets send about 10,000 across the state with intentions of converting fans to MAC fandom...

nert obviously lives near detroit - it's one of the advantages of this locale - so many mac teams are nearby.

of course, those in mid-ohio could do it too - or even cleveland.

BG was actually able to draw 19K in today. Now, whether this remains to be seen next week with OU coming in is questionable. Hey Athens, how bout you make the trip North? It'll help the attendance and "douchemonkey's" credibility?

I'll be at the EMU @ Toledo game so that's 3 people in Toledo right there.

CMU is out of town again (and they always seem to win when we're out of town playing non-BCS teams - watch out Army)

Why not have a double header with an all day pass to both games a la Disney?

Lakeland:

BG's students start their "fall break" Friday, so I have concerns about our attendance against Ohio.

That being said, at least two fans will travel some 500+ miles to be there!

Homecoming = Advantage Toledo

Opponent = Advantage BG as OU will definetly bring a bigger crowd than Eastern.

OSU on TV at 7:45 = Push

Population = Advantage Toledo

Bottom line...you should draw more than BG for every game.
