Yeah, it does it sometimes. Don't really know the reason. Makes it a little hard to read even with a 19" monitor!

Dude, you should be able to change your resolution so your screen can fit more stuff into the available space. I've got mine set on 1024 X 768 so I can see most everything just fine, no matter how wide it actually is.
Not a windoze user (thank ya Jesus!) but perhaps Marine (our resident PC guru) or GTS could help ya out.

just right click on the desktop, go down to properties, then click on the settings tab. your resolution will be towards the bottom.

3 things can cause a scroll like that:
1) Patheticly small resolution (640x480... 800x600 at times)
2) A large pic was posted
3) Some moron posted one HUGE constant line like (aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa).
