10MAN, Wry, and others in Mississippi & Louisiana, she's a category 2 right now and heading in your direction. A couple of more miles of wind and she's be a 3... yikes!

Hope she doesn't mess with your game this week with Florida...

Go Rebels!!!

PS I'm having mouth surgery Friday morning. Hopefully, I won't be too doped up so I can watch your game on Saturday. Guess that's one way to shut me up... hehehe
As rough as that field has been this year, another 5-8 inches up here Friday will turn the game into SEC mud-wrestling on Saturday. Should be sloppy on the field and in the Grove, unfortunately. It will slow the Gators down, but also the Rebels.
Lili doesn't want me to pull a Lt. Dan hurricane scene in V-H Stadium. Of course, the big difference will be my possession of both legs. Either way I will get into the spirit of the role.
Good luck, MsNole. Lili looks like she will stay at least 200 miles away from the Mississippi Coast. I think we'll be okay. It would be good if she would blow away Baton Rouge, but I don't think that will happen.

Just saw the latest update on Lili. They're now saying that she will be making her way thru NW Mississippi early Friday morning. If that is the case, then she may be all gone by Saturday morning in Oxford.

Those things can do some funny, unexpected things, at times, though. We'll see.
Looks like she's going to cruise north in Louisiana, her center not far from our river. That puts Mississippi on the East side of the storm, and that is not where we'd want to be. Watch out for tornados up there, hear?

How 'bout that guv of ours who won't open all lanes on I-59 to north bound traffic. Next time a major storm approaches the Mississippi coast, do you reckon Louisiana is going to close the I-10 west to our people who might be wanting to go that way to get away?
I think he is a dork - so that doesn't surprise me at all.
I guess I need to start watching the news. Or at least read something other than the DM and the Standard. Didn't even know a tropical storm was over us until someone told me last Thursday.
If you were (almost)anywhere in the state, all you had to do was look out the window. You must have been doing some serious booking - or something.
I just thought a thunderstorm was passing through actually. Good thing I'm not a meteorology major.
Goodness Gracious, she's a category 4 now. Batten down the hatches!!!
Hey baby! Aren't you glad it isn't headed toward FL.
It might not be heading to Florida, but Florida is heading for it. Yes, I am aware of the blatant noncomedic value of that statement. Had to say it though.
I hope the gators are headed for a storm!
Forecast calls for helacious UM defense.
That would be nice -- I heard Eddie Strong is supposed to be back 100%.
If that's the case, this will be the first game I get to see in person in which Eddie Strong is 100%. I would love to see him have a banner day. He's due and Grossman & Co. are due another down home whoopin'.
