This is some absolute BS. Maybe AD should actually LISTEN to the podcast and take advice from it instead of just trying to shut it down

My resentment is evolving into hatred and disdain.

BVP was one of the few media outlets that consistently showed up for media events. This is more doubling down on stupid.

Was there an actual reason given, or did they just do this because somebody's feelings got hurt? This is an absolutely ridiculous decision.

Imagine being Mark Ingram/the athletic administration and thinking “Less coverage is a good thing”.

Fan sites and independent media unite. I hope every one of them spreads this like wild fire and the publicity leads to many firings. Minor league athletic department is correct.

This needs to be send to Scarbo and all other media in the city as it is an attack on free speech and journalism as a whole

I have spammed WJOX, Next Round, and all the local news stations with emails that included national articles, the IG comments on Ingram/Dilfer's, as well as how their interviews seem disingenuous to fans. I give them facts about other teams in the AAC firing their coach and Dilfer's lack of experience and blowout record.
I think it's time others start emailing them as well. Local sports radio and news need to shine a light on what is happening at UAB Athletics.
I was hoping to organize a large protest at the Birmingham Bowl, but that fell through. Continue sending your emails to Ingram but it's also time to start sending your emails to the local media, tweet at them, and call in. They have to know that UAB faithful is not okay with what is happening. The national media has seen it a mile away but it seems that the local media is still enamored by his super bowl ring and silver tongue.
While my plans for a Birmingham Bowl protest fell through, I truly think we need to organize a protest outside of Bartow before a game when students are back in session.

Bad move on the AD
It's one of the only few podcasts that's all about UAB athletics, not many of them out there. Is UAB trying to keep fans or not because they are getting
lately

We beg and beg for years for coverage of our program. Someone finally says, “screw it, we’ll do it ourselves” out of his own pocket and they’re the ones getting treated like crap.
Every move UAB makes right now is tone deaf and shows the inability to read the room.
You give Scarbinsky and Goodman a platform, when they can’t find it in themselves to write good stories when times are good. You allow in Speegle who compares us to Alabama and Auburn in every question he asks.
How is it not logical to believe that there are some bad intentions ongoing within our athletic department? They ran Bill off, now you know what they want to do next.

As I said above it is time to protest. We need to find a good time/game to protest outside of Bartow. Memphis game would be best but thats all the way in March.
We have a Saturday game against Charlotte that may make the most sense. 1pm on a Saturday plus a month and a half to schedule and prepare.

What comes next is banning signs and kicking people out of bartow(or denying entry) for those and shirts that are critical of anything regarding the university.
I would not put it pass them to start refusing future ticket sales to anybody that has sent a critical email.

Good. That should make local news. Make good trouble to shine light on them.
As long as the signs, banners, shirts have no profanity then there shouldn't be an issue. First Amendment Rights. Also those shirts BVP made are literal quotes by Dilfer. Maybe don't continue to double down saying dumb sh*t all the time when you are 7-17 and get blown out 71-20 by Tulane at home.
If they get that dramatic, then national and local news have to cover it. I'm tired of the ineptitude and corruption.

A simple coaching change would’ve gave people hope. When there’s hope, people share and spread it.
I’ve seen a lack of interaction and engagement on social media, due to embarrassment to be associated as a fan.
They’re pressing all the wrong buttons.
It really feels like we’ve returned to the ‘07-‘13 era of UAB athletics.

Tough questions and fair criticism.
Ted can’t be “one of the boys” if he doesn’t protect them from criticism.

Probably the T shirts BVP sells declaring us "Practice National Champions". If the AD is that thin skinned....

Light up Mark and Ted. I’ve gotten responses (Mark directed me to Tedd). It’s because put BVP t-shirts that called out Dilfer.
