Jax State managed to top Georgia State yesterday, splitting the season series against the Sun Belt foe, and bringing our nonconference record to 12-15. Our final nonconference game comes against UAB on May 7. If we can at least win that one, we'll have a .464 percentage against non-CUSA teams. Not great, but considering the strength of our nonconference opponents, and the projected weakness of this year's Gamecock squad, I'll gladly take it.

Our conference record, on the other hand, is as bad as we feared. Maybe worse. We have a lot of work to do.

When I tuned in NMSU was trailing 8-4, got all good after that. Look at the UNM centerfield glaring at the wall...LOL.

Tech goes to Las Cruces this weekend. The Aggies scare me to death. They are never out of a game, and we have some middle-relief issues.
