It was just a nonsense article about what a great guy he is, nothing substantive. Glad so many enjoyed it.

The big issue that Iowa fans are most interested in is will the Hawkeye offense improve under their new OC (Lester).

Now that spring practice is under way it is understandable to have an article quoting players on how things are going-different.

Not "nonsense" to Iowans.

Iowa with an Offense is going to be a scary thing for a lot of the B1G teams. I hope he has success.

Some coaches call plays on gut feeling. Some defer to reliable "money" plays and players. Others do it based on momentum of the game.

Lester is a math nerd and literally has a statbook with exact probabilities for decisions in game, e.g., there's a 64% chance of winning if you go for it on 4th and 3 on the 50 yards line in the third quarter. Sometimes the odds are a wash and he makes decisions, but generally he does whatever "the book" says.
