Kent adds another transfer in 5'9 rFR G Joy Bergstrom from South Dakota. From Illinois, she missed her entire freshman year due to injury, and does not seem to have played any last year either. Don't know if that was for the same injury, a different one, or other reasons.

Most of the posts describing offers out of HS have been deleted from her twitter, but she did appear to have some decent offers from SMU, Providence and Loyola Chicago.

Ohio is adding Wake Forest grad transfer 6'1 G Aliah McWhorter. Played HS ball at Cincinnati Sycamore.
In 4 years at Wake, played only 19 total games. Missed 2 entire seasons with injury. Last year played in 14 games, scoring 3 total points and grabbing 4 total rebounds. Likely has at least 2 years left, given the injuries plus COVID year.

Also, Ohio has posted an initial 24-25 roster, and it does appear that Kate Dennis will be back for another year, although Madi Mace will not. Those were two players I was not sure would be back or not.

CMU adds another transfer from DII Illinois Springfield, 5'8 JR G Jessenia (Jess) Lawson. Originally from Las Vegas, played 2 years at JUCO Cochise College in Arizona (right on the Mexico border) before moving on to Springfield. Last year averaged 17 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists for the Prairie Stars. By my count, that fills CMU's roster. CMU will have 5 freshman, 5 transfers, 5 returning scholarship players, and 1 returning volleyball convert, if I have everyone accounted for.

In fact, most MAC schools now have full or close-to-full rosters with just 1 or 2 slots open, unless there are some players not coming back that have not yet been announced. Akron still has 4 spots available and NIU three, by my count.

Looks like Miami has lost another assistant, as Keyanna Warthen has been hired away by Indiana. They had 4 assistants this past year, and are down by 2 now.

EMU officially announced the signing of Eleko, the 5th Canisius transfer, plus one more player: 6'1 SO Jada Williams from St. Peter's. Originally from New Jersey, redshirted 1 year at Temple, before two at St Pete's. Only played 4 games last season before reportedly tearing her ACL. The previous year (22-23), she averaged 9 points and 7 boards for the Peacocks. In 22-23, St. Peters was one of the worst teams in DI with an 0-30 record.

Looks like Brook Simpson, 2024 5'10 G from Saugatuck, MI has committed to BG.

Looks like EMU's Lachelle Austin is committing to Ball State. Average 10 points a game last year. Not a traditional Sallee guard though, as she has not been a great three point shooter. But does fill some of the guard losses BSU had (Hampton, Puiggros, Muhl, Barreto, Shafer)
