Baseball Power Rankings through 3/26
Didn't see this posted yet.
1. UL (LW 7) Sweeping ODU impressed me.
2. TXST (LW 12) Up & down OOC, but 2-1 vs App and @ JMU is strong.
3. CCU (LW 1) First away series didn't go well, but they can score on anyone.
4. GSU (LW 5) OOC was poor, but 5-1 in conference with a road sweep.
5. USM (LW 3) Underwhelmed at Georgia Southern.
6. Troy (LW 6) Strong OOC, but lost 2 at home to USA.
7. App (LW 10) Think they'll go higher after nearly sweeping CCU.
8. USA (LW 8) Winning 2 at Troy was good, but being swept at home by GSU was not.
9. GS (LW 14) I want to rate them higher, but USM was only their second series win.
10. Marshall (LW 9) Gave USM all they could handle and nearly swept stAte.
11. JMU (LW 2) Probably better than this, but have to win SBC series first.
12. ULM (LW 11) Weak schedule, but lots of Run Rule games. Not sure?
13. Ark St (LW 13) OOC looks good, but hasn't won a SBC series yet.
14. ODU (LW 4) Very confusing season. Won series with GS, but not competitive at UL.
Lots of movement and I could see a lot more. Georgia Southern's OOC schedule results shocked me. Are they turning a corner or was this past weekend a fluke? ODU not competing with UL at all was a shock. CCU has played 4 gams away and lost 3. That'll take you from Ceiling to Basement fast.

It'll be really interesting to look back at these lists at the end of the year. Other than CCU and UL...and maybe TXST...being at the top, it still seems like just about everyone else could end up in any order.

Oh yeah, looking at all the schedules, results have been all over the place.
