Would the OVC have any interest in a non-football school??
Hearing more rumors about the OVC possibly losing more members makes me wonder: would the OVC have any interest in a non-football school in the Birmingham, AL metro area, is the state of Alabama's only public liberal arts school, and a top regional school in the US News & World Report?? The school I'm referring to is the University of Montevallo, my alma mater. We are a top baseball school, and one of our wrestlers recently won a national championship!! We have men's & women's soccer, as well as men's & women's lacrosse. Our baseball team sent Rusty Greer to the pros along with Jeff Segar & Tony Cappola. Another one of our alumni, Eric San Innocenio, briefly served as ACC deputy commissioner for digital relations and previously worked with the NFL's Houston Texans.
