That was really the reason I was inquiring. I thought that might be the case.

In sports the interim manager is usaully a candidate.

It's funny seeing the reactions here to King being made the interim president and thinking back to what the reaction would have been if this happened 10 years ago.

Sure they can, if the BOV agrees. Suspect a project of that scope would require the BOV on board. CK is widely respected for his financial work at JMU, so if he presents a plan that makes sense, I’d expect the BOV and assembly in Richmond would approve. He helped get many of our athletic projects done, including AUBC.

In short CK might just be the best chance we have to make it happen.
