South Carolina's center Kamilla Cardoso was suspended for the Gamecocks' next game (i.e. their 1st-round game in the NCAA tourney) because she was ejected for fighting. The others (from SC & LSU) who were ejected got that penalty for "leaving the bench area", and thus did not receive any next-game suspensions.

As I expected, we are on ESPN - one of the first three showcase ESPN games announced (along with Ohio State and South Carolina). All of the other games are on one of the other ESPN channels.

And reading around a bit, Reese has been dealing with some ankle issues (she rolled her ankle just prior to the fight). She should be fine is my guess. They do have some other injury issues and normally only play 7-8 players anyway. One of their guards missed the South Carolina game after suffering a concussion in the SEC semis.

Contrary to some on this board, I'm incredibly pumped by the draw. I mean...if you're going to have to travel to a Top 12 team's home gym and have an 0.1% chance of winning regardless of the opponent, I think the optimal outcome was getting LSU.

Just think it's an incredible opportunity for our women to get on ESPN and share the stage with 3 (Reese, Johnson, and Van Lith) of the 5 or 6 most recognizable names in NCAA WBB. Plus LSU hasn't exactly endeared itself to the public, so we'd be the darlings of America if we could pull off the unlikely upset (as opposed to upsetting someone like Notre Dame, NC State, etc.).
