FAU deserves a bid and should receive it, but I will not be sure until I see it officially announced.
Not worried especially coming from a negative person like you. Would be a screw job not to get in

Yeah, this may have moved FAU to a 10 seed from the 8/9 seed line, but I don't see how they're left out.

10-seed may actually be better than 8-seed in terms of better chances to advance into the tourney.

Depends on the matchup and who the 1 or 2 seeds are. Definitely possible though.

I think we are in , but this team is way too inconsistent to make a deep run this year.

Obviously you do not have much experience with the wiles and ways of the Selection Committee. Seldom has a year passed without some controversy.

Again, FAU should receive a bid and I expect it, but it is not automatic.

Temple is the craziest story since USF ran away with the regular season.

Temple has never been in an AAC championship game. Ten years in the league, one regular season title. The fan base is incredulous at the moment. So is Las Vegas.

Playing Temple right now means playing for a golden ticket, someone no one is guaranteed in this league.

Everyone wants to play Temple right now.

Last season, all schools above 37 NET received either an at-large or auto-bid (North Texas was the cut off at #38). Ten of the 32 at-large slots were granted to schools with NETs between 39 (Iowa) and 67 (Pitt).

FAU looks safety in given their profile, but one cannot be absolutely certain until the field is released given the whims and prejudices, and biases of the Selection Committee with their opaque process and lack of accountability.

Agree, thought their legs were done yesterday and the 2nd half… can they do one more day (no pun) wouldn’t bet on it

Texas A&M is 45 in the net. We are 39

We beat them head to head

So if somehow they get in and we get left out, it's a total screwjob by any measurement.

But if we use the logic that the committee can screw you, only the conference tournament winner is ever guaranteed a spot

PS: lunardi had us as an 8 with 12 usf getting the aq. So he had us losing to usf in the finals.

So losing one game earlier takes us from an 8 to almost out or out? Would be bs

What is going on right now?! Rain in the desert. Cats sleeping with dogs. And now will Temple punch their ticket to the big dance with 1 more win?

Time will tell.

I agree, but in the unlikely event the Committee bypasses FAU, they will - IMO - point to FAU’s Q4 defeats. Again, FWIW I think it very probable FAU will obtain a bid. If I were an FAU fan I would be confident, but a tad wary.

It may be a blessing in disguise. You guys seem to play up and down to your level of competition. Tough teams bring out the best in you. Maybe you get matched up with Purdue in the 2nd round and that W propels you to another run.

I’m confident UConn can and will beat anyone in this tourney. But I sure as **** don’t want to see y’all on our 8/9 line

FAU fans might be new to this whole at-large selection thing .. but ask any Memphis or WSU fan .. and they will tell you, if the committee has an excuse to screw a non-P5 (or BE) team .. they will.

Also would be concerned that most of the brackets right now have only 3 BE teams in. I do not thing the committee will let that happen. They will slide the bubble BE teams up just cuz
