first, with TK and next w Moss. Good stuff for UT and college hoops fans. TK is direct and doesn't give canned answers. He brought up Ind St in this podcast too.
Also, talks about size. notes that it is a main complaint of the fan base, but is less of an issue with this team because they measure size in 3 ways. height. length (reach and jumping ability). Strength. We may not have tall guys but he thinks most of our guys play bigger due to the two measurables.
Lorentsson. says some players have a lights come on game and Lorentsson had one in the road win at EMU. how low confidence was holding him back more than ability, once he became more fearless, he gained confidence and agression.
talked scheduling. Duke in non-conf 2025 due to family connection. that other mid majors think UT schedules too tough because we have been playing teams that are better than ppl think (Vermont, Oakland, Ind St, Irvine, App St, etc...) and are gonna take some losses. TK stood by it. said they built the schedule as a 2 year plan 22/23 thinking RayJ would stay for his COVID year and we'd have at large ambitions both yrs. UT won more last year but it still wasn't enough for a bid. this year w an even tougher schedule we started 6-6 and TK said the AD and fans were not happy but it ended up helping us be a better team and win the MAC. said he'd do it again.
