Field Hockey
Field Hockey coach was let go recently. Not trying to make up a story, but does anyone know the reason why?

Unless they remember the time when they were in the top 25 nationally and would get NCAA bids. I doubt it though.

Did a little research on records.
2019-2023: 22-5(didn’t count COVID year) in MAC, 19-34 NonC,
Two 2nd and two 3/4 in MAC tour, no NCAA BIDS
2013- 2019: 30-5, 31-48 Conf, 3 first, 2 second and a 3/4 in MAC tour. 3 NCAA bids with a 1-3 record in NCAA games
The last 5 years we have definitely been passed by Miami. Regular season records were slightly worse. MAC tournament and NCAA performance were significantly worse. Maybe just not enough there to justify an extension.

Joel was criticized for not being a people person. This guy will be criticized for just the opposite. Funny thing is Joel always acknowledged me at the women’s games and the new guy just walks past.
