OL coach
We appear to have lost Coach Gordon to the portal. He's going to the Packers as assistant OL coach.

Packers Hire UAB’s Eddie Gordon as Assistant Offensive Line Coach
Eddie Gordon was highly respected at Georgia, where he spent four seasons before leading UAB’s offensive line in 2023.

RE: OL coach
This is a very important hire to be made. We can’t afford to lose guys at this position to the portal. Hopefully we can get someone great

RE: OL coach
Ouch.

I was told Mccants didn’t want it last time, considering how much time it requires away from family.

Can’t remember if John Peterson bailed on McGee before or after his first season, too.

It’s probably a good thing that Miguel Patrick had an involvement in recruiting many of our olinemen, too.

We definitely didn’t need this problem going into spring practice…

Neil Callaway’s no longer the Stallions OL coach. 05-stirthepot

RE: OL coach
Unless we convince Mccants, it’s probably an out of the box hire. OL outperformed my expectations last season. Knew run game would suffer and the long pass protection wouldn’t be there, because of lack of talent. However, we found other ways to get downfield.

Not that it’s relative to us, but Zach Lankford left WKU for Ga Southern this offseason and then WKU hired Will Friend as OLine coach.

Jody Wright Murray state HC now.

Maybe his HS OL coach wasn't he an X-NFL guy?

Assuming Grant Williams is still at Lipscomb.

Also seem WR position coach Appleby has taken an analysis role now could be looking for a WR and OL coach.

RE: OL coach
Getting an NFL player name would be big IMO. If they can coach obviously, but imagine pulling in an NFL vet

Good catch. I didn’t realize he had his title dropped when looking at the staff listed online this morning.
