I'm concerned that Memphis will come out with force after the SMU game. We'll need to weather any early punch in the mouth and stick with our gameplan of a slower pace with strong defense and smart shots to pull this one out.

We have said that every game since the USF loss. Not going to happen. We might win because we'll have the best player on the court in David Jones. But chances are that either effort will be poor again or the players who play and give effort just wont be good enough other than Jones, Tomlin, and Dandridge.

Apparently, Penny will only play the subs ... Some sort of statement game. We'll be down by 20 in a hurry. Biggest home loss since who knows. Ashton Hardaway will allow players to push him aside to get O rebounds and go back up until they make it !!! He'll have open looks all night that he won't take.

That's not going to happen. Even our beat writers are picking 6bc. Penny says his rotations are not the problem and we just don't understand him. He says that we fans are the problem, and his team, who won't execute his genius game plan. This will be a blowout win for you guys.

Your concern is misplaced, regrettably.

A significant portion of the roster does not care and the remaining players have insufficient talent as a group.

I see that the Memphis faithful is feeling very optimistic about tonight. Luckily for you, we tend to play poorly on the road.

Not poorly enough. None of us are sure we will win another game this season. This team has just absolutely imploded. And in the SMU game, they flat out quit. Sorta like the 80-40 drubbing at Tulsa a few years ago.

Whoever that team was that ran through a tough OOC schedule this season, and started out 15-2 and ranked #10, has left for parts unknown.

Man you guys are a completely different type of down bad than I'm used to. I was expecting more of a 2004-2005 (excluding the tournament run that ended how you remember it ending) type of vibe around here. That said, this game still scares the **** out of me. We don't play well in Memphis and the Ghost of Omar Sneed and his 1998 3/4 court shot still haunts me.
