Thomas drives into the lane without a purpose. He has no idea what he is going to do.
It's a reflection on Miller. He really needs some offensive coaching help on the bench.

With the amount of moving screens Iowa state is doing its nuts that Reynolds gets called when he is completely planted just because the defender ran into it hard.

This isn’t “lack of talent” or “Wes needs time to build his roster.” Most of the issues are things within a team’s control: not committing ridiculously stupid turnovers, defensive effort, being able to shoot a decent FT percentages as a D1 basketball program. Every game we shoot ourselves in the foot and commit self inflicted stupidity. No identify, no go to guys, no sense of pride in defending your home court. Can you imagine the repercussions with Mick, Huggs if their team committed this many turnovers and made so many stupid mistakes. Or the nonstop lack of toughness with a guy like Vik, who routinely has the ball stripped out of his hands. They’d be on a bench, running till they dropped, and these fixable things would get corrected instead of being on display game after game after game and the Coach doesnt seem even acknowledge it.
