Oakland, in their game tonight against NKU in a losing effort in OT, losing 89-99 (talk about being in love with the 3 point shot), the Golden Grizzlies threw up 49 three pointers tonight, hitting only 28% of their shots. I wonder if that is a record for most 3 point attempts in a college basketball game ?

Not even close. Just from memory there are teams that do nothing but shoot threes and routinely score 120 points. Grinnel has taken 111 shots in a game, all of them 3s. In D1 Troy took 74.
