What is the deal with an upcoming baseball game: ACU vs Tarleton State set for Tuesday, 4/23rd? It is being called a non-conference game. Are the Texans still in some kind of transitioning?

After a rough start to the season (Christiansen turned over half the roster after last season), we seemed to have turned a corned these past few weeks and are on a heater at the moment. We're 8 of our last 10 and just won 7 of a 9 game road trip that included wins at Oregon and 2 wins at U$C. We're sitting at 21-21 (9-9 WAC) on the year.

That said, our WAC schedule has other teams that are battling for those final spots to the WACT. Should be an interesting finish to the year.

I am sure it's because we already had a series with Tarleton that counted as the WAC series. This must just be an extra game.

That makes sense. Short travel time and good competition.

Seattle U might be host home games in the new $120 million ballpark in Everett, their current setup in Bellevue is garbage for the spectator but they make it work the best they can.

Wow, we dropped 9 notches just for losing one game to SFA. SFA is almost looking....Southlandish.

Ironically, the SLC is a really good baseball conference. They consistently get 2 and 3 seeds, while getting the occasional second bid.

Yeha, I noticed Lamar has been a ranked team this year.

Lamar may have screwed the pooch this past weekend, but if they get in, they’ll get higher than a 4 seed.

I think the last SLC two-bud came when Sam was the cream of the SLC crop, but as basketball has shown, one high performing team can still get left out if they don’t win it all. Gotta have a supporting cast help you up.
