That's waaaaaaaaay too many teams and several of them bring nothing to the conference.

If the ACC were to get raided then I think the best course of action is Pitt, Louisville, USF, and Duke. That adds existing rivalry games and a blue blood basketball school that's decent at football too.

Syracuse is much more valuable than Wake. Trade them out and it’s actually a nice grouping.

No. If no MWC schools in the mix? It is a hard pass.

I don’t see an “M1” emerging after the P2 raid the ACC. With so few big prizes left, I see the next raid only depriving the ACC of, at most 6 schools.

That leaves 12 schools intact. I’m not convinced that the Big 12 will be able to peel away members of the 12 remaining ACC schools, especially if there are still stiff financial penalties for abandoning the league. Why pay a ton of cash for a lateral move?

I think the ACC stays intact and adds USF and possibly UConn and/or Tulane.

This man gets it. And not just any school from the MWC, but this expanded conference would really need a presence in the Boise, Idaho region of the country.
