That shot by Cryer was just a back breaker.

Houston has some unreal bad shot makers. We played elite defense a couple of times late and they hit crazy stuff. Tough loss.

Second half wasn't great on the defensive end for Thomas. James also played his best defense all season. Hopefully this is a turning point for him going forward.

There's effort and there's playing under control with the effort. That's where the uber-talented teams like Houston set themselves apart. We're getting there but it's been obvious in league play that we're still a few show horses deficient.

Another 5 point or closer loss...so close to being great.

Those 17 consecutive Huggs tourneys are awesome. We will never see that again.

Obviously disappointed in the result but after the way we started I'll take the chance to get this win in the closing minutes against a F4 caliber team. It didn't go our way but we get another chance next against ISU. I thought we'd split one between these two home games.
