I wonder how many FSU posters here are paid by FSU athletics or FSU media. It would seem at least 2-3 here are paid to post erroneous information that is favorable only to FSU. I should have noticed it sooner.

The British first employed this in the United States during the First World War to combat public opinion tilting toward Germany, especially considering that much of America was in fact 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 4th generation German, had German customs, and spoke German.

Maybe they are the same guys that Maryland used to make everyone think all the fans loved the move to the B1G.

If you recall, after Maryland left the ACC, it was discovered that the university had paid a good deal of money to hire professional shills to disparage the ACC and talk up B1G membership on message boards like this.

I wouldn't say they're a majority but I'm sure there are FSU fans who would prefer to stay in the ACC, if, for no other reason, because of concern over the serious risk that FSU is taking. Could there be a concerted effort to astroturf this to convince FSU fans that leaving the ACC is the right thing to do? Very possibly but we don't have any direct proof that this is happening.
