my take is we were really good, not Western was bad. our offense is finally clicking. the ball is moving. guys are cutting, playing unselfish. I love all the risky passes and no look stuff when it's in the context of crisp play. you beat good teams at this stage of the season when you think less and play quicker.

That was pretty much western's team. b Artis White has missed most of the season, as well as last. he has chronic leg problems. Muntu is a decent rotation wing who has been out. we played their guys who were 5-3 in the MAC.

Lorentsson struggles a bit on defense but his offense is there. he's just a guy who is better than he thinks he is.

Just a great job by TK and the staff of developing this team; getting Cochran to play at this level, Simmons post game development is incredible, Maddox is settling into his role and not forcing things anymore. Lots of criticism of TK bench and depth approaches over the years but this season he's spread minutes, built up Lewis and Lorentsson, got Ford competing well, playing 9 guys real minutes and not wearing out any starters. Thomas is really good, shot isn't very pretty but he's one of the best shooters on the team. not sure if he sticks around but he can play. Maletic is better than ppl think, but unlikely to break into the rotation.

I was the one that was tough on Thomas & Miletic. Perhaps unwarranted but I'm trying to see and envision how TK thinks they can possibly help UT in the future. I just don't see it watching them in very limited amounts. Hope they improve. I'm just guessing what TK is thinking and TK is constantly thinking roster management and who will and won't be back next season . He frequently cuts Fr after 1 season. we've seen it time and time again. Miletic is a weak defender and this surely limits his upside. I root for all players to make it. but I also want UT to win big. Hard to reconcile those 2 things.
