I was somewhat confident we'd give yall a game of it until we had a player break a foot so now I'm thinking Liberty will smoke us.

Liberty is efficient. We'd better bring it from the tip.

Still don't feel comfortable with LIberty being a preseason #1. They are a good but very flawed team.

Forgive us being a bit distracted at the moment. Football still occupies about 95% of our LU brains right now.

This is a bit of a homecoming game for a good chunk of our roster made up of Kentuckians. I expect some inspired play from those guys ... especially Rode.

But again, the CJ Daniels watch is a higher priority for most of us today.

This is definitely a game to watch for Cusa fans. I don't know who no. 2 is but no.3 versus no.1 will be a great matchup. Liberty wasn't as good as I thought they would have been when they lost one of their earlier games which I can't remember who it was but they were shown that they still need work. The tall guy from Europe couldn't match up with the tall guy from that other team, I can't remember who it was.

Well the Flames have already lost to the Hilltoppers once today. I see that remaining consistent.

In WBB at Lynchburg LU blew a 41-28 halftime lead and completely melted in the second half under WKU pressure defense to lise the game.

Yep. The Lady Toppers came out cold as ice in the 1st two quarters but settled in by the 3rd and fourth. They've done that several games this year.

Looks like a good game brewing early on.

Pretty entertaining game so far. Flames giving up way too many points and turning the ball over. Great TV coverage. Nice court.

Flames looking ragged and haggard in the second half. This aint no church league team we’re playing like the last game, and on the heals of a 45 point loss to Bama. Flames confidence is low.

We’re small and unathletic. We won’t win against bigger, longer, athletic teams. If we’re not hitting threes, we’re losing. McKay is a good coach but he’s gotta change his recruiting strategy if he wants to compete in this league.

We played absolutely terrible..some of that due to Liberty... and yet we barely won. We have a long way to go to be good.

Isn't this the 3rd game we've won at the buzzer when up a decent margin at some point in the game? This will catch up to us eventually.

If I'd not seen the final score and just saw that we had 20 turnovers and only shot 61% from free throw line, I'd have said we lost by double digits. This team has grit for sure and love to make it interesting at the end. Lol
