Offensive Stats compared to rest of country (Rocky, OL, Running Game)
This is pretty interesting:

A look at what QBs were asked to do and how they did in 2023

The Quarterback Chaos Index:

Top Right: Chaotic Good
Bottom Right: Lawful Good
Top Left: Chaotic Evil
Bottom Left: Lawful Evil

One way to evaluate run games in college football is to compare scheme and OL (yards before contact) with RB ability (yards after contact):

Further right => Better scheme/OL
Further up => Better RB talent/ability

Which Quarterbacks Benefited Most from Play Action Passes?

Above the Line: Better on play action dropbacks
Below the Line: Better without play action

Blast from the past, funny seeing Jiya Wright on here too, didn't realize he was starting at ULM now

As far as the run game, in my observation it is right on the nose. Our lead back has not gotten a lot of yards after contact. And it's a little concerning.

It's like he wants a perfect hole to run through and when it's not perfect, he tries to go elsewhere (mostly unsuccessfully) instead of just hitting the "hole" and if there is a guy filling it, that's ok. Knock the guy back a couple of yards. Take your 3-4 yard gain and get ready for the next play. Once in a while maybe you will run through the tackle and make your own running room.

The OLine indicator suggests our Oline is better than it looks, the play calling was fine and the RBs didn't get enough on their own. It's what we said about Brown, he does not run fast unless their is a wide open hole. He has to plant an go. Hammock spends a lot of time trying to coach him up, noticed quite often when he comes off the field Hams is talking to him. Also the charts indicate something that this board has been harping on quite often, DETAILS. The OLine, the passing, and the play calling are/were fine, but catch the ball, don't fumble and run hard. Execute....damn we should have won 2 more games...
