All - my heart felt New years shout out to Dukes fans everywhere!

It is hard to imagine a better year for a Dukes fan than 2023 - but here we are and ready to move forward.

The message boards inform and infuriate me. I wonder sometimes what our perfect JMU Dukes fan might look like. It is pretty clear not just 1 of us, makes JMU Nation great - no matter how we puff ourselves out.

My JMU creation might look like this:
- BDK: attention to detail
- LongHorn: eyes and vision forward as a university, plus athletics
- 'Brian': rootin' high and low always with a positive attitude
- Hart: Chief Growth Officer
- Xeonon: Voice of the Player
- Purple: Relentless passion
- Dukester: creating tradition and pushing the JMU brand
- DeezNutz: Getting the operations done


So many more, just like the teams we root for - the sum of our rooting interests is far greater than any 1 voice on the board. I hope in 2024, we continue to find ways to voice our support for JMU, our student athletes, and the leaders paid to make very difficult choices.

Of course, no offense taken. I am quite sure, if you wanted to rankle me - it would be quite obvious! Fortunately, no part of horses are sent to the Glue-Factory anymore. JMaddy, made me research hooves, teeth, and hides - were historically sources for glue.

24 - your being quite humble, but yes OJF would be an awesome addition to the perfect Duke. For your part, I will say your wisdom on this forum is invaluable. Plus all of the rebounds in Godwin - helped to build our program.
