Uh, about those 3 AAC teams, lol...

Plus, we DO have an actual 2nd AAC team at #19.

Jokes aside FAU is having a helluva season. Had to do some digging but the AAC has never had a top 10 match up. Came very close in 2014 and 2018. 2014 there was #7 Cincy vs #11 Louisville. Louisville won that match up 58-57 in Cincinnati. In 2018 #10 Cincy played #11 Wichita in the final regular season game of the year. Cincy won that meeting 62-61 in Wichita.

Given that FAU and Memphis don’t meet til the end of the year, the AAC could very well have its first top 10 meeting. Looking forward to watching that match up.

The AAC basketball team of old was completely underrated. UH, uconn, cinci, memphis, wsu, is a solid lineup to start with. Throw in smu , Tulane and a healthy temple...sheesh.

I thought being in the AAC had killed the UConn basketball program(s).

UConn has won a national championship since they left and the future Big 12 has 5 teams in the top 25. Wat?

Assuming UTSA mbb doesn't get in the way.
