Keep in mind that whatever conference FSU goes to, we will either cast our vote for your inclusion or sour on you depending on how things go down. Wake, BC, SU, Duke may have to go down guns blazing, but the rest of you have a chance of finding a good landing spot.

What the heck does this even mean? No matter where FSU goes they can't leave until they are free of the ACC, and at that point neither FSU nor their new conference of destination will even care what anyone in the ACC thinks. Are you saying that FSU wouldn't be able to schedule former ACC mates? Would they even care then outside of Miami and Clemson?

Perhaps if it’s a full breakout situation in which FSU wins the GOR case and goes to BIG, but I thought USC didn’t have a vote or say on additional PAC schools? Fox isn’t asking FSU which ex gave them a goodbye kiss

If FSU is lucky enough to get into the SEC, you think they’re going to vote against what the SEC wants or is having any tangible say on what other ACC schools come?

I’d bet if FSU is ushered to SEC (by ESPN) , it’s already known what other ACC schools are going to SEC

Whatever conference FSU gets into, they will have voting privilidges. If FSU gets in before the others, they will either vote yes or no on expansion candidates.

how that work out for A&M or USC?

When you get into the P2 your influence is diminished

A&M voted in favor of OUT, so I think it worked out just fine for us. USC doesn’t join the B1G until 2024, they have zero voting privileges there yet.

More importantly from FSU’s perspective, there aren’t many ACC schools that they’ll ever have a chance to vote on, anyway, and I’m sure those schools will help out now if they can.

It's something you have to consider.

Among the reasons the PAC12-2 held together for a year in 'one for all, all for one' fashion while shopping for a media partner was surely to preserve good will in the group. Southern Cal and UCLA weren't the only schools destined for a B1G call up, and everyone knew it.

Many would say NC State doesn't pack the heftiest amount of influence in the ACC—but for Stanford, Cal and SMU that's the vote that made all the difference.

The documents aren't quite as "separate" as one might think.

I think the GoR text makes it pretty clear that it is related to the espn media deal.

Note that this is an unanswered question to us ... we'd need to see the text of the agreement forming the ACCN to know whether this is an unanswered question to the ACC & ESPN.

Why would any ACC member choose to join a conference where FSU was already a member. The 'Noles have demonstrated what kind if conference mates they will be. With friends like that ....................who need enemies!
