Was there a camera angle looking down the 35-yard line? I only saw the camera looking down the 50-yard line, while the ref was standing right on the 35-yard line.

Well even if they got the ball doesn’t mean they would have scored. I got to trust the ref saw what he saw. Plus makes me smile to see Butch flipping out. Ha ha

EMU down 17-0 to S. Alabama at the end of the first quarter.

Quite honestly EMU is probably the worst team in bowl season. Soft OOC schedule including the UMass freebie, and drew the bottom three MAC East teams in cross-divisional play.

EMU barely made it to 6-6 with their cupcake schedule and they're missing key players today. South Alabama, with their backup QBs, is putting on a clinic.

I respect that Creighton dragged EMU out of the basement, but I just don't see him taking them any further. They had high hopes this year with a ton of starters returning and a senior heavy roster, and they've been a disappointment.

Not sure what the goal was there. I've noticed the chippiness during WMU-EMU games in recent years, too. And there were postgame comments one year from WMU players about how EMU players were spitting on them and just trying to start fights instead of play football. I don't know if Creighton has a hands-off approach in the locker room, but he's gotta get these guys under control.

I still remember the ugliness at the end of EMU’s bowl game vs Pitt.

Yeah, I get the frustration and the SA guy was probably running his mouth a lot, but you’ve got to be the bigger man and let it go.

EMU is dirty and classless.

The school's only redeeming quality is both my parents are grads.

EMU behavior in bowl games is a problem - again.

I hope the MAC comes down hard. What an embarrassment for the team, the University, and the conference.

Sorry Ken, but after watching them for decades, that behavior has become characteristic of the culture within the program.
