It's ridiculous. Whether Huff is doing well or not, I have no idea. Based on past results I'm going to guess the answer is no. But regardless of how he and Marshall are doing, this whole transfer/NIL crap is just killing my interest in college football. We all know each year we were going to lose 25 or so seniors and bring in 25 or so freshman, but now in additional to graduating teams are losing 20%+ of their team to the portals and are bring in a ton of new strangers. It's hurting the quality of play as the players don't get the chance to play together for years and learn from each other (See Cato/Shuler for example) and the 'team' just never gets to come together and grow. I just hate the new normal and it's turning me off so badly I really don't know how much I'm going to care in the future.

I know exactly what you are saying. This is the first year that I didn't give two Sharts about Bowl Season. I've only watched 1 bowl game and I turned it off after the 3rd quarter. Between NIL, Transfer Portal, Bowl Opt Outs and a HC that throws the fan base and boosters under the bus... I'm about to give it all up. I grew up in Cabell County, graduated from Marshall, I've been going to games since I was a toddler. Heck I remember going to the Basketball tourney in Asheville every year, watching Marshall play AT Davidson and VMI. My kids go to Marshall. But now Bowl season is meaningless, our HC doesn't care, players are always looking for something better. Why should I support that?
