Toledo eeks out the win over Marshall 88-87.

Toledo player missed their last FT and Marshall got the ball back with 17 seconds and a chance to win.

Toledo with three straight wins by a total of 6 points.

Marshall was down 6 and got five points in roughly 1 second, making a layup, stealing the inbound and immediately hitting a three. UT very fortunate to win. All-MAC Tyler Cochran (and by All-MAC I mean he’s played for all the teams in the MAC) scored 33 but made some bonehead TOS that almost cost us the game.

Hey, winning is winning. Whether by 1 point or 20 points.

NIU needs this time off to regroup, hopefully get two players back on the court, and relax at home. They've played 5 of their last six games on the road.

Toledo had a 10 point lead with a minute and a half to go. Then, Marshall had a guard go on a personal 11-2 run to nearly win the game. Weird play at the end where UT had a player break open deep on an inbounds pass but the pass clipped the side of the backboard and ricocheted to Marshall for an open 3. Marshall has a poor record but should become a solid team, pretty talented. Toledo has a gutsy group but play is uneven. Games coming against 8-3 Vermont and at W Virginia to end a tough non-conf slate.

Toledo got up 10 three separate times blowing it imidately every time. 38-28, 68-58, and 86-76... the game flow chart looks like an even heart monitor.... boop...boop...boop...

BG is not playing the greatest of schedules ... but it's clear the team is rounding into form and finding an identity.

LOOK OUT FOR HILL ... he's All-MAC right now!!!
