The MAC went 2-3 on the night last night. Akron and Kent picking up the wins.

I thought UB looked pretty good for a team with a terrible record. They have some athletes for sure and hung with Butler deep into the 2nd half. They will start winning some MAC games and get better under this new coach.

NIU did what they did in Northwestern game. Played well in 1st half and then forget to show up in 2nd half.

We were physically a much bigger team than Indiana St in the 1st half. Then for whatever reason we went with a much smaller lineup and gave quite a bit of playing time to players who hadn't really played much in the 2nd half. It's almost as if Burno decided he didn't need to win this game and wanted to get other players some playing time for the 2nd half.

Keshawn Williams played but his minutes were extremely limited and he mostly just stood around the 3 point line not doing much. But then he appeared to tweak something and limped off the court and never played again. Burno said in postgame they were gonna have x-rays done. So hope it's not something serious.

Central Michigan, Ball State and Toledo picked up wins last night.

I have watched both Kent State and Akron play this season and both teams are super talented. I would give Akron the edge over all teams in the MAC with them adding Ali Ali back to the team.

In fact, I believe this will be Akron’s best team barring injuries. Akron is quick, big, strong, skilled and very well coached. I only have one question regarding Akron can they play fast? Akron dominates teams offensively and defensively in the half court set. However I haven’t seen with my own eyes if they can play uptempo? Not saying they can not play uptempo just I have not seen them do it. I don’t believe any MAC team can beat Akron if they allow them to play their well tuned offense in the half court. A very talented team like Toledo can not match up with Akrons front court. If a MAC team is going to beat Akron they will need to play uptempo and hit open shots. Slow down games will be won by Akron.
