Dear Sellers dweller,
Maybe Washington had a bad night, but Michigan sent more than four linemen at Penix all night long. I am talking about one game, you are talking about their season.
If, you want to say how great Michigan was, and I think you are to a degree, then just say it. I would also never say that Eastern is equal to either team, because they aren't, but you will never convince me that Washington was prepared, or made changes during the second half, especially on offense.

I think they had a bad night because they played a really good defense. Washington's offense was great all year, but playing in the PAC 12 there isn't a ton of defense being played, their best non-conference game (Michigan State) was not good defensively. There are a handful of teams (Michigan, Georgia, Alabama, Iowa etc.) that are really talented and scheme in a way that can limit Washington. Then you take a way their one good RB who was hurt...that really limits them especially against a very good defense.

Texas also had a good overall defense but their weakness was their pass defense so Washington was able to take advantage. I highly doubt they didn't prepare or try to change thing, but the other team prepares too and/or might just be better which makes it hard to get things done especially they they have a big advantage along the lines.

My point is you said their offense reminded you of Eastern's...whether you are talking the whole season or just Monday, I don't think their offense ever looked like ours.
