Well, that's better than the Iowa St -9 that their fans were saying on their board.

We absolutely should be the underdog here. We will be punching up in weight class against a team with far more resources than we have. This is also not a home game, ISU will be given just as many tickets as Memphis & will be well represented. If this game was played over& over again with computer simulations, ISU would likely win 75%+ of them. That being said, I think we have a puncher’s chance here.

Memphis sent a much better team to the LB in 2017 was it? Riley Ferguson was the QB??

Damn it's not even that long ago and I'm having issues remembering

Silverfield has 1 more chance to get a marquis win this year to add to Boise. Nobody else he beat this year moves the needle - ISU would.

ISU hung in pretty tough with Texas towards the end of the year. We likely could not have. I hope we can hang with them. That being said, we managed to hang with Missouri pretty well - I don’t know that ISU is any better than Missouri.

If ISU is better than Missouri then that would speak volumes and the $EC has some serious problems...

Big 12 5th place team 7-5 (6-3)
SEC-E 2nd place team 10-2 (6-2)

Mizzou is WAY better than ISU. ISU just adjusted to their new players after the betting scandal took away a bunch of starters and peaked at the right time.

That's what I recall. We were able to compete when we last faced ISU. Not sure we have the skill players or the D to compete this year if ISU's scores this season are representative of their team. That said, RS has a track record of getting our guys prepared to play bowl games. Hope this game goes out way too.

This is Iowa St 4th trip to the Liberty Bowl. Not sure when their last visit was, hope their fans will come support the team this year.

Yep. In a blizzard. I’m sure the young man is really good. But he was 3rd on the depth chart before losing the two ahead of him. And the snow gives an advantage to the runner.

Of their 4 DBs, two are first team all Big Xll and the other two are HM.

Watson may be the key in this game.

And went over 110 yards on 8 carries at BYU.

Highly doubtful there was a blizzard that game.
