It became an issue when they could only muster 40 points and 4 total TDs in back-to-back games without him.

Texas deserved to be in with a win.

FSU won both of those games without their "star" quarterback.

Isn't that the object.....win the game?

We have known for years that the system sucks. It’s not a true National Championship.

Here is Mike Leach explaining pitfall of a Committee based system.

I had you in the field. My beef is with Alabama, not you.

Just be glad Alabama and the SEC went after Florida State and not you. It's not like the SEC hasn't gone with the "head to head" doesn't matter mantra before. Last year, Alabama was ranked ahead of Tennessee in the final CFP rankings, it just didn't matter last year since they were #5 and #6.

The Orange Bowl: Georgia vs FSU

The winner needs to declare themselves national champions and hang the banner. OK, I’m being a bit facetious.

Watched pro-Alabama yappers on Morning Joe defending the selection committee choices with pro-Alabama host Joe Scarborough. Fine, but using that forum to offensively diss FSU was wrong.

That ongoing crush Feinbaum has on Nick Saban doesn’t need to be given such public displays.

There's your first mistake.

If FSU made it the Longhorns would have been out. I know it, you know it. Theres no way they leave Bama out after just having beat GA. The Head-to head wouldnt have mattered to them. They werent shutting out the SEC.

Thats another reason I have no problem with the FSU exclusion. The Horns wouldnt be in without their sacrifice.04-cheers
