Exclamation Memphis to Liberty Bowl
Imagine it’ll sell tickets but that has to be a disappointment for those players. No trip, home stadium.

It’ll be an awesome Gameday environment. Majority of bowls are not.

Memphis vs Iowa St rematch from 6 years ago. It was a hell of a game, a great time for all, and that stadium was super packed.

Highest profile bowl a non-Access Bowl G5 is likely to see though. Last year they played in the First REsponders Bowl in SMU's stadium.

Considering their road trips would have likely been to Shreveport or Birmingham, its likely a good tradeoff to be in a much better bowl.

RE: Memphis to Liberty Bowl
The main negative is the City of Memphis will have one fewer fan base traveling to the city to spend money on hotels/bars/restaurants.

But I like the thought of the Tigers playing before a big home crowed. Iowa State is very solid, so any little advantage for Memphis will be helpful.
