I want to give a shout-out to our cross town cousins, the FAMU Rattlers for winning their first conference championship in the SWAC. It’s crazy that both of our D1 football teams won their conferences this year. It’s been a huge boon for our local economy which really suffered with both teams being bad/mediocre for a while.

Both finished the season undefeated against their division (FSU's one loss was to USF).
So FSU was one of 4 undefeated FBS teams and FAMU was one of two teams in FCS to be unbeaten in division (South Dakota St. the other).

I’m glad the SWAC made the switch from neutral site in Birmingham to 1-seed a few years ago. It upped the Gameday environment for the SWAC CCG significantly.

Yep absolutely. Could not believe they slogged through the rain to finish it, sounds like the fans were still there through the wee hours of the night. I think they finished around the same time the ACCCG finished.
