I’ve been knocking FSU all night, and I hate them, but I got to say, this was impressive by the ‘Noles. They are in barring some OT push by UL

FSU's defense is nasty good, very stout. Tonights game reminds me of the Ravens team that had a defense and won a Super bowl without a QB

Louisville winning would cause LESS chaos. If FSU loses they can select Texas AND Alabama and no one would bat an eye

I think Bama is out, son. Damn shame we don’t get to see Harbaugh/Saban. There is a chance UT goes behind Bama, but not likely.

FSU headed to the Sugar to play UW; Texas will be Michigan's opponent in the Rose.

I think Bama is in. The SEC has never been left out of the CFP. They have the best win on their resume and look like one of the best four teams playing right now.

It’s a shame, but given FSU matches up defensively versus Penix, I don’t think the committee will see a huge mismatch there. People are just sick of Bama/UGa, and a H2H result is there with UT/Bama.

Damn shame. But the lube will go up the Sankey’s and Tide nation’s this year. Good riddance for most CFB fans that have experienced extreme SEC fatigue. It was now or never to leave them out.

I wouldn't be so sure.

FSU won't be the 3 seed and play Washington. If they get in, which is a huge if, they're 4 seed and will play Michigan(and get their asses whooped).

Yeah, I felt this way all night, but I think the argument Booger made at halftime wins out. I don’t expect consensus. If it’s 12 or 13 votes, I think it goes 8-4/5 FSU over Bama. Coaches committee and that’s your vote. Analytics committee would all put Bama ahead.

UT was just too dominant today against an Okie team that had everything to play for.

Now THAT… would be an absolute travesty.

The question is who gets the RB? What do the networks want? Because that’s what 1v2 should be about. UM UT is a classic RB. Already was back with Vince Young.

UW in NO? But, the west coast crowd will stay up and watch that one. Maybe they even travel to get away a few more days. That’s the only place FSU can match up. As a strong three.

I think the four teams will be as follows. (Mods, feel free to use this post to make a new CFP predictions thread.) (On second thought, nevermind. I'll see if there's a thread and just copy and paste this post into it.)

1. Michigan (1 and 2 can be flipped if need be, but Michgan was #2 heading into Championship Week so I don't see why we can't reward them with the top spot.)
2. Washington (Again, 1 and 2 can be flipped. Final PAC-12 champ, and what a final year it's been for that league overall. I personally would give the top spot to Michigan due to their current positioning, but the SOS favors the Huskies so I wouldn't be surprised if they are the top seed in the CFP.)
3. Florida State. (Have to go with precedent here. Plus, they have shown how resilient they are with their QB situation. Does the committee agree? I don't know.)
4. Alabama. (They beat the number one team in the country who also happens to be the back-to-back defending CFP champions. I can't leave them out.)
I could easily switch the 'Noles and the Tide as well, but this is what I have.

--------

5. Texas. (Sorry, but 'Bama's win was an earthquake-causing event in the world of college football this week. If Florida State had lost, I'd easily put the Longhorns in at 4.)
6. Georgia. (Kinda hate to put them here, but you're just not getting in. I'm sorry.)
7. Ohio State. (Nope. Sorry.)
8. Oregon. (See Ohio State for reason. Also, you lost twice to Washington. Nope.)

What say y'all?

Only 5th ACC title for FSU? That seems amazing.
