It matters very much but somehow seemly dismissing a team beating the ‘committees’ #1 team that hasn’t lost in two years is silly.

In that order. Satisfy TX win over Bama and satisfy Bama win over GA. Someone very good was going to be left out and FSU is the one unfortunately

There is a word salad going around that the committe's charge is to put the 4 'best' teams in not the 4 'most deserving'.

It will be very interesting to see how this plays out.

On a different matter, It will be interesting to see if it's JMU or SMU snagging the G5 spot. I predict JMU which will mean that the AAC teams will need to dumb down their OOC schedules in order to make sure they dont lose more than 1 game there - if any. The committee will put a lot less sweat into the G5 decision though....

FSU or Alabama… I doubt the even the committee knows at this point what they’re going to do with this conundrum.

Texas lost to Oklahoma who’s not in the conversation, so is TX out?

Of course not……but why elevate TX win over Bama greater than Bama win over GA? They’re both great wins and both teams are conference champs. Both are in. Of the three undefeated teams Michigan and Washington overall are the better over FSU

Thank goodness they’re moving to the 12 team playoff… just happens to be 1 year too late.

The SEC is squealing like a pig. They're so used to getting their own way about damn near everything...we need one year without the SEC in the playoffs for once. They've had years with 2 SEC teams in the playoff...no other league has had that happen.
Yes Bama and Georgia had good seasons, but 3 teams are still undefeated...and its hard to push Bama past Texas...who looked dominating vs Oklahoma State, and beat Bama head to head in Bama's back yard..

Graphics on the reveal show have their SOS 55th. Bama’s was 3rd. ACC strength this year didn’t help FSU.
