I haven’t seen a line on Auburn @ App State yet but the ESPN matchup predictor gives App a 30% chance to win.

I don’t expect a win but keeping it within 15 would be good…10 great.

I’m definitely gonna throw some money on app state, y’all will have that place rocking. I didn’t expect us to stay close within #14 Arkansas but we did at there house so anything is possible.

We're now 2-6 after losing to UALR yesterday. We'll be 2-7 after Monday's trip to Alabama. Next semi winnable game on the schedule is UAB at home next Saturday. But then we go to Louisville, so yeah.

Southern Miss won at UAB last night 85-82, overcoming a 15 point first half deficit. If you know anything about USM/UAB, you know how hard it has been for us to win in Bartow.

Lost to UT 77-58. We did well and had the lead for awhile. Gave them a scare but we're still short a few players (including 2 starters) and it showed.

Just an addendum to what Jay said: I don't know how the season will turn out, but they are a fun team to watch. With a mostly guard team, they are fast paced, and play good defense. At times, they are really deadly on the outside shots. They tied the previous record for 3 point shots in 2 games this season with 18 each game. The sad thing is that so far, no one has been at the games, but I am hoping that will change in January. Some people don't come to games because they hate Coach Marlin. I hope JMU can stay in the rankings because that game in January could bring in some of our missing fanbase.

It will be a average year for the cajuns. Jay was correct, saying no quality depth on the team, they can have great moments, but not trusted to seal the deal. if they cant hit 3's at a very high percentage, they will struggle. oh, and they play hard!

was out back watching last night on the cpu with football on the tele in the background ... when we started the 1st half comeback, I told my bud, "if we can cut it to single digits, we have a shot at this one ... we actually look good in flow tonight." ... next thing we knew, it was tied up right before end of h1 ... was easily the best we've played from start-finish this year (thank you replay for that late reversal - which was the correct call) ... yes, sir ... that was a fun game to watch...

Keeping our players that rarely contributed and no quality recruiting for years gutted our team. We could have added 3-4 contributing D1 players by cutting the dead weight, but DD wouldn't have known what to look for anyway or those "players" wouldn't have been on the roster in the first place. Half of our team has no business at this level and the other half aren't good enough to carry them.

It's pretty much impossible to win when the other team gets 42 more free throw attempts than you do. I hate refs. I really hope AI replaces them. I don't care how bad the AI is. Just that it's fair.

A full 50% of Northeastern's points were free throws.

My apathy's at such a high level I haven't even kept up with the scores until just now when this thread reminded me the Chants have been playing! Our only two wins are against a Piedmont (?) team we beat by two points and USC Upstate which we had to take to overtime (!) to defeat. I used to attend games at the HTC Center, listen to radio broadcasts, watch Cliff Ellis's coach's show, etc., but basketball's just something we go through the motions of as football wraps and baseball season begins now like a foot fungus growing between our toes. Anyways, I've noticed local radio stations are giving away four packs of tickets to our men's basketball games and I did a hard pass on even signing up for the chance to win some

Our Lady Eagle Basketball team is 7-0 after beating #19 Ole Miss last night. Our men are starting to come around after starting slowly. They have won their last two on the road vs Milwaukee and UAB to even the record at 4-4.

Lady Monarchs are 6-0 right now. Think we have the #1 scoring defense in the country at the moment. Playing a tough FGCU team at home today but i think if we get past them, Delaware and VCU on the road we have #5 NC State coming to Norfolk 12/20 and that'll be a huge game.

That is part of the game, but Dan doesn't recognize the changes. Dan doesn't recruit so it will always be a problem for him. Hopefully he does MU a favor and retires.
