The EMU men's team continues to surprise people especially me. Two road games coming up.

Central Arkansas is 1-3 (game tonight) and their starting lineup looks like this:

Mosai Olowokere 6'5 Sr.
Abasi ubong Etrim 6'9 So.
Tucker Anderson 6'9 Fr.
Elias Cato 6'9 Jr.
Johannas Kirsipuu 6'2 So.

Off the bench Daniel Sofield 6'7 Sr.
Javion Guy King 6'6 Fr.

North Dakota is 3-1 after a road win at Pacific.

Starting lineup looks like this:

BJ Omot 6'8 So.
Tayreyson Eaglestaff 6'6 So.
Eli King 6'4 So.
Deng Mayar 6'8 Jr.
Tsotne Tsartsioze 6'9 Sr.

Off the bench the first option is Mambrourov Mara 6'6 Fr.

Wow! Those teams are long. We need to block out on the glass better than we did in the first half against Cleveland St.

RamyEMU, EMU will be 6-2 on December 1st! This OOC schedule is extremely easy! Even Michigan is weak as well!

Recently, there were a couple good posts on here about the increased parity in college basketball- an incredible post from Pono in the off-season and more recently from Sam reiterated such). That said, yes UM lost to Long Beach St, but also beat St John (Big East) and Stanford (Pac12). Yes Michigan St lost to James Madison, but also beat Butler by 20 (Big East and DESTROYED EMU). So there is a lot of parity and Michigan might SEEM down a little, but there is no way this EMU team contends with UM. They are still so far apart.

That said, 6-2 going into the UM game is conceivable. Conversely so is 4-4. Not trying to be pessimistic, just realistic. Hoping you are right about 6-2, and for what it is worth will give you full credit for the prediction if it pans out.

Going O/T. I am ewatching CLEARY U. playing IUPUI even in the 2nd half. ESPN+ game.

Refresh my memory. Who are their coaches?

…but lost. Final 78-70. But nice showing for the EMU legacy coaching staff!!!

Still in the 1st half. He didn't score but he is rocking a serious Jimi Hendrix fro.

If EMU wants to be any good this season we need to find an inside game.

EMU playing very sloppy and are lacking intensity on defense and not rebounding today. Good teams bring intensity every game it will be interesting to see how good this team wants to be.

Under ,2 minutes and Central Arkansas has made two or three sloppy turnovers and we are pulling away

We had a 3 point lead and inbounding the ball underneath our basket with 12 seconds to go. What do we do? Make it seem like inbounding the ball is similar to conquering world hunger and we turn the ball over. Very similarly to last year when we gave Oakland the game with time running out.

The announcers stated we have not had back to back OOC road victories since 2007.

I’m glad we got the win but we surely are lacking fundamentals.

A win is a win, but we definitely should beat C Arkansas! We're 3-2 with 3 wins against below average D1 teams, Detroit is 0-6, C Arkansas 1-4, and GA Southern 0-6,1 win combined all 3 teams.......N Dakota will tell us way more about this team early on.........Glad to be 3-2!
