Just saw where Roanoke College is starting up a Div. 3 football program. Last played football in 1942 and Bryan Stinespring (former VT & JMU assistant) will be the head coach.

How old is Stinespring now? Is this his retirement gig?

A few rounds ago, there were some who advocated JMU hiring him as HC. I'd have to think by the time he works his way up to D1 FBS HC, he might be retiring.

Brian Stinespring isn’t just a former JMU assistant. He’s a Duke!

Roanoke College will play in Salem High School’s stadium, which seats 7,100, making it bigger than some CAA school’s stadiums.

Stinespring is a good hire to get that program going.

Stinespring was also a walk-on football player when he was a JMU. He was also an assistant coach the year we won our 2nd FCS National Championship in 2016.
