Buffalo/E Mich on now ESPN 2. Thank God we didnt join the MAC. Depressing game between two bad teams

No help so far as EMU is up 7-0 in a terrible game. JMU would wreck both of these teams

If I paid attention to the line, I would have 100% put money on Eastern. Buffalo has nothing to play for and has 3 wins on the season. No clue why they would be favored.

Alger isn't. He wants us to just stop bothering people.

I wish he'd have told us a while ago that he was this spineless. Why should we even bother going to whatever bowl we get into when the university's president doesn't even care?

Buffalo looked like absolute **** on defense. How'd they even win 3 games? We'd steamroll them with our D- game.

They lost to FCS Fordham... no surprise there.

As far as bylaws and conference football postseason rules go, the only thing I could find on what makes a team ineligible for CCG seems to be linked to NCAA postseason eligibility. So it does become an interesting question.

I like how they said that they will consider legal options if we can’t backdoor in. And what? Take away a spot from a team that was told they were bowl eligible? Absolutely clueless behavior on Alger’s part.

We don’t care about the bowl, we care about the NY6. Somehow Alger thinks it’s going to a bowl that matters. The real outrage will come if Tulane, Liberty, and Toledo lose this weekend and we’re back in the drivers seat… But we took off the steering wheel and put sugar in the gas tank. And the worst part is we’ll find out about Tulane and Toledo tomorrow 24 hours before our game…

The reason they were favored was that EMU was 0-5 on the road coming into the game.

Mississippi State just got their 7th loss handed to them, so another team out of the bowl picture.
