Osama Bin Laden's manifesto
I'm seeing stuff pop up on Twitter that suggest young people are reading Osama Bin Liden's Letter to America & are all of a sudden sympathetic to his cause.

It's mostly being blamed on Tik Tok. I can't tell if I'm being tricked into the magnitude of this story or young people on Tik Tok are actually being tricked into siding with Bin Laden.

Pretty nuts. If true, we need to end Tik Tok in this country. A China app is brainwashing our young people.

Osama Bin Laden was a terrorist. Full stop.

All the more reason to teach a lot of history to students. And not the white-washed wave-the-American-flag version that some want.

From Wiki:

The RESTRICT Act (S. 686), Introduced by Senator Mark Warner, is a proposed legislation that was first introduced in the United States Senate on March 7, 2023.

The RESTRICT Act is described as "a systematic framework for addressing technology-based threats to the security and safety of Americans

The bill has faced bipartisan criticism for having a lack of judicial oversight and transparency in its enforcement mechanisms, and for containing wording broad and vague enough to potentially cover end-users (such as, for example, potentially criminalizing use of a VPN service or sideloading to access services blocked from doing business in the United States under the Act, due to the text stating that no person may "cause or aid, abet, counsel, command, induce, procure, permit, or approve the doing of any act" that violates orders issued under the Act). Many individuals have compared the bill to the Patriot Act.

In July 2023, it was reported that TikTok parent company ByteDance had spent $100 million on lobbying against the proposed bill, with Warner stating that lawmakers were preparing amendments to clarify the scope of the bill.

Maybe China was watching how Fox "News" brainwashed old people and decided to get in on it.

160 years ago. In the modern age it's only the Insurrection Party that wants to teach children that slavery wasn't bad.

In the modern age of slavery, it's the democrats and chamber of commerce who want open boarders to import more un-educated, cheap labor in order to keep their costs down. They like to see a permanent lower class who is trapped and totally reliant in the scraps their employer is willing to provide.

It's working, over 8 million (that we know of) have entered our country since Biden took office, even though over 80% of Americans do not want "open Boarders"

The Insurrection Party is the one that needs un-educated voters. The educated ones know that Trump is a sociopath who doesn't care about anyone but himself. The uneducated are the ones susceptible to a populist like Trump. That's why Trump himself said he likes the uneducated.

By the way, the Chamber of Commerce is a big supporter of the Insurrection Party, not the Democrats. You can't be unaware of the fact that it's the Insurrection Party that wants cheap labor, no labor regulations, or other regulations of any kind, so they can make as much money as possible regardless of the impact on others or on the environment. That is the party's entire platform!

Side note: It's "borders" not "boarders". On the original topic though - in the article I think it said "dozens" of young people were sympathetic to Bin Laden. That isn't very many out of the tens of millions of young people.

This isn't true. It's not even close to true. The rates of illegal immigration, and the number of illegal immigrants working within the United States, remain nearly unchanged between the Trump and Biden administrations. The only significant policy change has been to remove barriers and barricades that deliberately cause great bodily harm and/or death. In the past 30 years illegal immigration was the highest under Dubya and the only president to significantly reduce the rate (to where it has steadily remained to this day) is Obama. While the number of people arriving at our borders has increased in recent history (this predates Biden FWIW) the number of immigrants crossing legally or illegally remains largely unchanged.

You think Republicans don't hire cheap uneducated labor from our southern border?

That's hilarious.
