Yawn.
We will get torched in front of no one in attendance

And ESPN announcers will spend way too much time talking about the college football playoff poll, other P5 matchups, and their favorite Heisman contender.

While a play is going on, even.

Speaking of which, the only time during the Miami/Buffalo game that ESPN showed what was happening in the Ohio/CMU game was when they broke in with a highlight of Ohio's pick-6 - right in the middle of a play in the Miami/Buffalo game (and it's not like they were doing hurry-up offenses). Also, the camerawork needed a bit of improvement in that game, to say the least.

RE: 2023 MAC Football - Week 12 Gamethread
I thought the announcers did a good job during the Bowling Green-Toledo game. Sure, they promoted some ESPN programming -- the Las Vegas Grand Prix, the Washington-Oregon State football game -- but it didn't seem excessive to me at all. They also showed the MAC standings a couple of times and promoted upcoming MAC games. And I don't blame them for announcing the new playoff rankings during the game. That's a pretty big deal. They didn't dwell on it, though.

There have been times where I thought ESPN got carried away talking about things other than MAC football. I didn't see that Tuesday night.

In fairness to ESPN, if they are calling a clunker of a game in an empty stadium, it might be easier for them to talk about someone else. (Think Bob Uecker in Major League.) They certainly didn't face that challenge Tuesday night on the Deuce.

In Miami's 5 games vs the MACEast, we only gave up 3 Touchdowns, 2 vs OU, 1 vs UB, and none vs BG, Kent, and Akron.

Yeah... Toledo misses 3 of them. Almost like the MAC West is better again...

Okay even I know that's not true. But the last place team is better than 3 in the MAC East. AND MIAMI PLAYS THEM TOO!!

Miami beat every team in the MAC by double digits. Toledo squeaked by 3.

You have a loss. Toledo does not.
You did not beat 3 of the 4 common opponents worse. You got to play Akron and Kent. What kind of logical fallacy is that? You have a 32 pt loss OOC. Toledos was by 2. SJSU power ranks far ahead of Cincy... There's a reason you're 20 spots behind Toledo in the computer polls. The Miami defense ranks less than 15 spots ahead of Toledo nationally. Your offense ranks 80 spots behind Toledos.

Who won more? OH YEAH! :)

Toledo gets away with everything. Man, if they did that in opener. They were beating Illinois 1st half. Toledo's a half-team.

I would say that you can't say anything until the title game. This should be great. In De-toi! :)
