Thanks for the detailed write up. We are definitely going to need some breaks to get to a bowl. There are a lot of 50/50 games up there. It would be really good to get ODU and South Carolina losses this Saturday and knock them off the list as they could win their last games.

Like I said earlier, it is going to end up next week with like 15-20 teams that are 5-6 going into their last game, and we will need half of them to lose.

Will be hard to follow scores on Saturday with all of the focus on our game and enjoying Gameday. I was really hoping for the waiver so we would not have to be worrying about this next week.

Central Michigan lost. Now 5-6, has to beat a very good Toledo team next week to be bowl eligible.

Not sure if it's been brought up before, but it occurred to me that if we end up becoming eligible through the TRO/Injunction and it turns out that we would not have made a bowl due to lack of eligible teams, it's a very real possibility that a 6-6 Sun Belt team is left out of the bowl picture.

Hence why the Sun Belt needs to get on negotiating our bowl tie ins since this will be a problem every year going forward. Let's make sure a CUSA or MAC team sits at home and not a Sun Bel team.

If so it's very likely they would also have been one of our victims, so they had a chance to beat us. Georgia Southern didn't thank us for getting them in a bowl last year and some of their fans are the loudest mouths in regards to our waiver request so I could not care less if one loses out.

Not everyone deserves a trophy and the sham bowl system should shrink once the 12 team playoff starts next year.
I hope the 7 win criteria passes and with it comes the elimination of 6 to 8 toilet bowl games

UTSA knocks off USF. USF now moves to the bubble for the final week...but they will play Charlotte. Still, a 25% of USF being eliminated is better than a 0% chance.

Washington State is destroying the fighting Deions of Colorado 42-7 in the 3rd. Both teams enter the game at 4-6, so the loser is gone. It looks like Colorado will be eliminated and now Washington State has to upset Washington next week to get their 6th win.

So - we've got the best results possible for us tonight.

I agree. A bowl game should be an achievement reward, not a participation trophy.

...unfortunately that won't work best we can do is lose 2 and be 10-2 so still short of 4 losses to get a bowl game for 6-6 eligibility... damn if you do damn if you don't
