Feel it was a flawed poll, in that only 2 options were available. Very few people are going to pick losing a game.

If the options were end the season at 11-1 or go bowling and potentially lose the bowl game, different results IMO.

Likewise I think if the options were end at 12-0 or go bowling and *potentially* lose, rather than a known/certain loss.

Question should be:
-13-0 with a lower bowl win.
-13-1 with a CCG win and NY6 loss.
I think the options are clear, going undefeated and being shut down or being allowed to go on despite a loss. Choice was “going bowling with a loss” not “going bowling and then incurring a loss”. So I should’ve elaborated to show choice of 12-0 or 11-1/10-2, not undefeated and then losing in bowl to be 11-2/10-3 but didn’t want to confuse folks.

A) 12-0 (end of season)
B) 11-1 or 10-2 (SBC title game & bowl invite)
Curious if any would change their mind on this now that we know the outcome?

For years, people are going to talk about going 11-2 in our first year of eligibility. (or zeroeth year, or whatever.) Ask Scott Norwood if you'd rather miss the super-bowl winning kick or miss the playoffs.

Also need to remind those that voted (myself included), that this poll was created on November 12th... right after the UCONN game.
A LOT happened between then and the 23rd. Looking back, the bowl/no bowl stuff feels like nothing compared to what happened next.
This was a really weird season. Absolutely a lot of great memories. But also a whole lot of unnecessary garbage that I don't think any other team in JMU history will ever have to deal with or worry about.
Even the end of the regular season to the 23rd was a whirlwind.
When it was looking like we were going to get a bowl game, I was ecstatic and I didn't care where we went or even who we played.
When we lost our staff and players started entering the portal like a flood, my excitement level waned and wasn't sure I wanted to see it play out.
In the end, I'm glad we played... even if I knew we would lose that game. Those guys deserved to play on the field with one another.
My vote is absolutely meaningless.
