2 is an important point. If the aac invited kennesaw and would guarantee pod scheduling with an all owl pod, I think Kennesaw would have to make the move.

If the AAC wants the Atlanta market, I'd wager they'd go after GaSt before KSU.

Georgia State may or may not on the table for the AAC. But I agree that KSU would be a consolation prize at best.

I'm not saying GaST is a better school or program than KSU. I was merely looking at it from the lense of the AAC. GaST is already a G5 program with a few years under their belt plus I don't see the AAC taking any more from CUSA unless it's MTSU for the Nashville market.

As for us, I'd rather have KSU than GaSt.

Possibly but I think ESPN drove the last round and the AAC took schools not already under the ESPN umbrella. Now that CUSA is also ESPN, if the AAC were to take more schools they're not as limited. Of course, everything is speculation at this point.

In 20 years. They just took Army. They are out of ideas. UMass is the next best candidate.

Why in the world would the AAC stop there when they could have…..

The real OBU has been pretty good at football lately. Arkadelphia is a slightly smaller metro area than the AAC seems to like.

The one school that wouldn't accept an invite from the AAC or SBC is La Tech. Inutech would put the kibosh on it cause they both have 14 schools now. Way too large.
