Let me know. You will need to keep your hunting gear, hat and gloves, for Crystal River in February. But that is just to fit in with the locals. 40-50 degree days freaks them out.

Wow, 3000-foot elevation? There isn't any place that low in Colorado. You should visit sometime and bag a couple of our 14,000-foot peaks. We have 54 of them from which to choose, and many don't require any technical climbing skills. They're just temporarily hypoxic trudges over non-precipitous terrains.

Yeah, the parkway area nearest me is mountain ridges upwards of 3600 feet. It’s all tree canopy so it’s a different feel than Rocky Mountain peaks. I’ve hiked on Mt Mitchell in North Carolina that is the highest elevation east of the Mississippi at 6800 ft. For me, it’s not so much the height but the natural beauty of the outdoors. Colorado is on my bucket list to visit at some point.

Those are my people. Lol

Doing the beach thing in Siesta and then when I get good and sunburned we have a house on a lake filled with gators and largemouth bass in Crystal River. Planning to lock my phone in the trunk and spend two weeks in fishing zen.

I'm also doing a bucket list 3 day fishing trip to the Dry Tortugas way down south.
