I’d put Clark in yellow. 7-5 is probably safe. 6-6 or worse means a change is likely post Dec 1

RE: Sun Belt Coaches Hot Seat
Ricky Rahne is on the hot seat? I think he’s done a great job. I wouldn’t be surprised if they contended for the East next year. My rankings would be:

On fire: Terry Bowden

Hot: Will Hall

Warming up: Charles Huff, Shawn Clark, Mike Desormeaux

Cooling off: Butch Jones, Shawn Elliott

Could get warm next year: Kane Wommack

Going good: Ricky Rahne, Clay Helton, Tim Beck, GJ Kinne

Getting that P5 love tap: Curt Cignetti, Jon Sumrall

Rahne has two losing seasons and is currently under 500.

How is Charles Huff's hot seat not on fire after losing five straight and completely losing the locker room?

IMO his seat should be on fire. But athletic departments tend to move slower than fanbases.

Mediocrity reigns at Marshall, you folks at APP witnessed how far this program has fallen. Too, we have a basketball coach who has reduced our program to a recreation team level. Tough being a Herd fan!
Great crowd last night, congratulations on the win,

RE: Sun Belt Coaches Hot Seat
As much as I want Bowden's seat to be on fire, the reality of the situation is that it's probably just luke warm. The fans are getting more restless and frustrated but we also understand the situation. If our AD and president don't start finding ways to increase the coaching budget AND improve the facilities, changing coaches won't matter. It will be another round of lather, rinse, & repeat. What I will say is that if there are plans in place for those things to happen, Terry Bowden is a really good coach to have in place for starting the implementation. That's why I don't believe Bowden's seat is as hot as the win-loss record would indicate.
